Gluten-Free, Healthy Recipes
After a lot of pestering and nagging, I finally convinced my mom to start a recipe blog! Her website is entirely gluten-free and also has vegan and vegetarian recipes! They’re DE-licious!

Avocado & Blue Cheese Chicken Salad
This salad is packed with nutrients! It contains protein, complex carbohydrates, as well as healthy fats. Not to mention fiber, antioxidants and vitamins C & E to name a few! If that wasn’t enough to tempt you… it tastes amazing as well! Feed your body well… you deserve to feel good!

Low-Carb, Healthier Veggie Pizza
This pizza has approximately 375 calories. According to Domino’s website, just a small thin crust of theirs with marinara sauce has 480 calories. And that’s without the cheese and veggies! (Yes, I ate the WHOLE thing!)

Fish & Stir-Fry Medley
The day before grocery shopping day reminds me of laundry day. You have to hunt and pick through what you have to come up with something decent. Thankfully this time, I happened to have ingredients that meshed VERY well together (the equivalent of finding clean pants… yay!). It’s not your classic stir-fry, but it’s a darn good version of it!

Healthy Burrito Bowl
While most burrito joints are absolutely delicious, their ingredients can contain copious amounts of sodium and oils. To avoid the mystery and create a cheaper, healthier version, make your own at home! This recipe is simple and easy to make!

Spicy Grilled Tilapia
Although I’m a total dessert fanatic, I suppose REAL food is important too.. *sigh* It’s important to consume enough protein to maintain and build lean, strong muscle. Here is one of my go-to, super-easy tilapia recipes! Tilapia is very easy to cook and it’s hard to go wrong with spices, as it’s a very bland fish on its own. This recipe will leave you loving this dynamic little fishy!

Healthy Summer Berry Salad
If you are looking for something simple, quick and refreshing, this salad is absolutely amazing. It’s so easy and can be made to serve multiple people for say, a barbeque or pool party!

Spicy Garlic Salmon
This fishy little number is the perfect solution for you lazy-bums out there. The sweetness of the salmon, paired with the zing of garlic and a kick of chile pepper makes this dish delicious and satisfying.

Healthy Chicken Fajitas
Here is my favorite healthy chicken recipe! Enjoy!

Spicy Stir-Fried Asparagus and a Little Asparagus History
Everything you would ever want to know about asparagus… plus a delicious recipe to try!

Healthy Sushi Bowl
There is a way to make sushi not only an affordable option, but a healthy one as well! After I threw this together a few days ago, it has become a staple in my daily diet. It’s so simple and delicious and just like at a regular sushi restaurant, there are so many amazing options!

Protein Spice Doughnuts with Vanilla Cinnamon Glaze
I decided to test my hand at the fine art of doughnut making. As usual, I healthified this taste treat! I was actually surprised at how delicious the dough tasted (I licked the bowl clean). They smelled amazing right out of the oven and I could barely wait for them to cool. They were fantastic on their own, but the glaze gave them an extra little kick!

Clean Eating Cookie Dough Bars
Note to self, do NOT concoct delicious new protein bar recipes on an empty stomach! This one is so good, I ate half the batter before I could even finish. You will LOVE these bars!

Vanilla Protein Pancakes
It’s ALWAYS a good time for pancakes in my opinion! Breakfast, lunch, dinner… I’ll eat them anytime of the day! This recipe is super simple and quick…. and healthy (of course!).

Maple & Cinnamon Fruit Bowl
Tired of your same old eggs and oatmeal for breakfast? Spice things up with this simple, protein packed recipe!

Sweet & Creamy Date Truffles
You won’t regret subbing these clean eating treats for the usual chemical-infused and highly-processed candy that many people treat themselves too!

Chocolate & Banana Protein “Sandwhiches”
The other day I was craving a frozen sweet treat. This recipe is SUPER simple and easy….. AND it fit my macros!

Rich Chocolate Protein Mug Brownie
I promise you, this recipe it is to die for. And as usual… it’s chocolate & peanut butter (my favorite!). But the GREAT thing about THIS recipe, is that if chocolate & PB isn’t your cup of tea, you can use any flavored protein powder you want and top with things other than peanut butter! Use your imagination and get creative!

Easy & Healthy Protein Pancakes
One of the childhood things I miss on occasion is pancakes! That’s why I have experimented day in and day out until I perfected a protein pancake recipe. There are so many online, and for the life of me I couldn’t get them right. But this one has finally won me over!

Healthy Peanut Butter & Banana Cake
If you’re anything like me, you grew up loving sugar. Candy, cookies, cake… whatever you could get your hands on. However as we mature and grow, we come to realize that living off of cocoa pebbles and cupcakes is not only unrealistic.. it’s incredibly unhealthy (darn it!). The good news is, with the right ingredients, you can “have your cake and eat it too”. Having one of those childhood sugar cravings? Give this healthy cake a try!

Chocolate Black Bean Protein Brownies
Rather than deprive myself, I’ve learned to transform some of my favorite desserts into healthy treats! I know “black beans” might not sound like an appetizing brownie ingredient, but trust me on this one! They’re packed with fiber and protein which leaves you feeling full and satisfied… and their chocolatey punch truly delivers a sweet-tooth satisfying dessert!

Healthy Cinnamon Baked Apples
I’m a big fan of simple, easy and delicious recipes and this one fits that description perfectly! This was SO GOOEY, sweet and delicious! OH and did I mention CLEAN!?

Strawberry Vanilla Power Breakfast Bowl
Here is a recipe that will not only cut down on time spent cooking, it will leave you feeling energized, healthy and satisfied! The ingredients are full of protein, “good” carbs and healthy fats.. plus vitamins and minerals the body needs to function at its best!

Muffin Topless Rich Chocolate Protein Bars
Most store-bought protein bars are basically just candy bars with protein in them. The majority are loaded with chemicals and sugar which are NOT conducive to a lean, healthy body. Instead of ingesting these harmful ingredients, try making your own bars at home where YOU have control over the ingredients that go into them! Give my all-natural, clean-eating protein bars a try!

Banana Spice Protein Muffins
Growing up, I remember that around the time school started up again my mom would bake banana bread. I can still smell the wonderful aroma that wafted through the house and it conjures up memories of back-to-school clothes, fresh pencils and new books. I recently got a craving for this old-taste-treat and decided to make a cleaned up version for myself!

Peanut Butter Protein Cookies
Craving something rich and delicious, but completely guilt-free? These cookies are the perfect cookie fix! They’re packed with clean, wholesome ingredients and free of unhealthy fats and sugar that most cookies contain!

Homemade Guacamole
Easy, healthy and clean eating guacamole! This recipe is so easy and totally customizable to fit your taste buds!

Cinnamon Pumpkin Protein Muffins
I love baking with protein powder. Not only does it improve the nutritional profile of my baked goods, it adds a unique texture and taste. For this recipe, I used a new protein by Gaspari Nutrition. It’s a Cinnamon Roll flavor and turned out wonderfully in these muffins!

Decadent Chocolate Protein Pudding
What if I told you that you could make something that tastes exactly like your favorite dessert using things that are already in your kitchen, with minimal effort and maximum nutritional benefits? Too good to be true? I can prove it…

Chocolate Banana Protein Shake
For many people, maintaining or achieving a healthy body weight and composition is a major priority. By regularly including whey protein powder in the diet, you can help accomplish this. Remember, diet is key to your results when it comes to achieving your physique related goals! Protein shakes are a great way to increase your daily protein take effortlessly! (And with great taste to boot!) Give this  recipe a try!

Vanilla Almond Swirl Protein Shake
Instead of buying over-priced, sugar-laden smoothies and milkshakes from your local smoothie shop or cafe, try making your own at home. It’s not only cheaper (don’t forget the gas prices!), but it’s healthier and allows for you to get creative with the things you have in your kitchen! If you’re not sure where to start, give this delicious recipe a try!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Shake
What if you could have a milkshake that tastes just as amazing as a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup… but without the excessive sugar, calories and unhealthy fats!? Too good to be true you say? I’ll gladly prove you wrong! =)

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup SLUDGE
This is probably my favorite recipe in the whole entire world. Despite the gross name… which at this point I don’t have the heart to change as I’ve become rather fond of it… I eat this every.single.day. without fail. It is the  PERFECT fix for anyone with a chocolate-peanut-butter-craving.. indulge in this dessert without the guilt!

    Hi Savannah!

I was wondering if you have any recipes(more specifically protein shakes) that involves bananas or other types of fruit!
I am not a huge fan of peanut butter nor (here’s the killer) chocolate.

    Thanks!
    Brydgett :)

    BTW, Love the website!
