I have some exciting news!!!
After a lot of pestering and nagging, I finally convinced my mom to start a recipe blog! Since I was a kid, my friends have been telling me how amazing her cooking is and how lucky I am to have a mom who is such a great chef. I didn’t think much of it, because it’s all I ever knew. But after four years away at college (hellooo Easy Mac!) and then making my own food upon returning, I had forgotten just how good her cooking really is!
On top of that, she is a writer. She’s been writing since before I was born and has a natural knack for getting a message across.
She has been a vegetarian since dinosaurs roamed the Earth (just kidding.. seriously though.. don’t tell her I said that lol). She has been living a vegetarian diet since she was about 10 years old. Recently, she also discovered she has a severe gluten-intolerance. (If bread so much as touches her food, she is sick in bed for days).
She has always enjoyed helping others… so it’s a natural fit that with all of these things combined, she start a blog to help those with gluten-intolerance/Celiac disease re-discover just how amazing their food can be. Her website is entirely gluten-free. Although she doesn’t eat meat herself, she does cook fish and poultry for our family (much to her dismay)… so you can find both vegetarian/vegan as well as fish and poultry recipes on her site!
Make sure to follow her on Facebook and also be sure to check out her website! =)
